Thermal Bluestone Treads
This Thermal Sawn Bluestone is quarried in Pennsylvania, and is formed deeper within the earth than natural bluestone. Due to the additional weight and pressure from above, the stone has fewer fault lines and must be sawn cut into layers. The stone is then “thermalled” – which involves rapidly heating it with a high temperature torch to refine the texturing.
The color of this Thermal Sawn Bluestone encompasses different ranges of blue and gray, or is varigated.
All pieces are a nominal 1” thickness.
