Each one comes in varying tones and slightly different textures. Depending on where exactly the bluestone was quarried, different clays and minerals are located within the stones which causes unique color variations in each type of stone.
Our Natural Blue Select Bluestone has hints of brown, tan, rust, green, and lilac tones and has a traditional flagstone texture. Natural Full Color Bluestone also has the natural and traditional flagstone texture, but it comes in hues of silvery blue and grey shades. The Thermal Sawn Bluestone has a slightly different texture from the other two options. Thermal Sawn Bluestone was formed deeper underground which means extra pressure was compressing the stone during formation. As a result, the stone has less fault lines and the texture has been refined by a high temperature torch giving it a natural cleft texture. This stone can be found in slivery blue and grey shades.
